Dr. Olivia Jahnke became the owner of Greenwood Vision Care in 2025- her goal being to serve families in our community with honesty, kindness and expert care. We believe quality eye care starts with heart of service. From thorough exams by our Doctors and Technicians, to personalized frame and lens fittings by our Opticians- we are here for your vision needs every step of the way!
Dr. Olivia Jahnke, Owner
Dr. Olivia became owner of Greenwood Vision Care in 2025. She was born and raised in Indianapolis. She graduated from Roncalli High School. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, and her Doctorate of
Optometry from Indiana University.
Dr. Olivia took part in research in India studying Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy. She also completed clinical externships at the Huntington VA Medical Center, WJB Dorn VA Medical Center, as well as a private practice in Chicago emphasizing care in specialty contact lens fitting and ocular disease.
Optometry is her passion. Dr. Olivia also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training for triathlons, and trying new restaurants and breweries with her husband. She is looking forward to serving the patients at Greenwood Vision Care.
Dr. Patrick Richard
Dr. Patrick Richard attended Indiana University where he received his Bachelor of Optometry in 1970 and Doctorate of Optometry in 1972. He then served in the Navy as an Optometrist from 1972-1974.
Dr. Richard currently resides in Greenwood with his wife Barb. They have been married since 1971 and have two lovely daughters Emily and Katie. Prior to joining the practice in 2018, Dr. Richard has practiced in Greenwood for over 40 years. He is a long standing member of IOA, AOA. In his free time, Dr. Richard is an avid golfer, skier, and enjoys traveling.
Lori, Office/Billing Manager, CPO/ABO Optician
Lori, has been in the optical industry for over 25 years. Powered by dedication and love for our patients, the patience of a saint and an occasional Diet Coke, Lori keeps things running smoothly and calmly, even on the busiest days. She has an outrageous love for dogs and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Angie U., CPO, Certified Frame Buyer
Angie is a CPO and Certified Optician. She has been in Optical sales for 13 years and is dedicated to educating our patients about our products to help them make the best decision for their eyes and lifestyle. Angie possess an in-depth knowledge of our optical boutique, and has a gift of being able to pick out the perfect frame for our patients. With that and her fun and honest personality she makes optical experiences memorable ones. She loves to cook/bake and spending time with her family and friends.
Ginny, Optometric Technician/Optician/Front Desk
Ginny joined Greenwood Vision Care in 2023 bringing her 10 years of knowledge and experience with her. Depending on the day, she could be found in the back helping get patients ready for the doctor, helping to pick the perfect pair of glasses or stirring up some shenanigans at the front desk. She loves to laugh, spending time with family and friends and all things outdoors, minus the winter. She has high hopes of one day being a snowbird.
Angie R., CPOT, Optometric Technician/Optician/Front Desk
Angie has been in optical for almost 25 years. You may find her in the back preparing the patient for the Doctor or selecting that perfect pair of glasses. Angie truly enjoying helping the patients get the best care possible. In her free time she enjoys working in her flower beds and spending time with her friends and family.
Melanie, Front Desk Coordinator
Melanie joined Greenwood Vision Care in February of 2026 with almost 7 years of optical experience. You will be greeted by her bright, smiling face most days in the office. She is always a helping hand when a need arises and enjoys conversations with our patients. In her free time she can be found outdoors, especially working in her yard or hiking. She also likes making time to listen to live music.
